At this Point we try to answer any frequenttly asked questions regarding courses and online booking. We are locals and winter sport pros – we know what we are talking about. Should you still have any questions, please contact us
We recommend it in very busy holiday weeks. Your group or private lessons are reserved. On-site it can happen that not always everything is immediately possible as we do not have an unlimited number of ski instructors.
You will certainly get a rental equipment also without reservation.
You will receive a confirmation of your reservation automatically upon completion. Please bring this to us. Equipment and course tickets can be picked up the day before in the afternoon. We will check your reservation and let you know if something has not been booked correctly. If evrything is ok, we will not contact you anymore.
* No discounts are granted on vouchers, lunch care, depot and family offers.
Guests who are already registered in our system, can receive their regular customer discount - which is the same as our early booking discount - even when booking later than 30 days before arrival or also on site. Please ask for your regular customer card at the shop or send us a message. Early booking discount and regular customer discount can not be added.
Skiing starts at fun & pro with 3 years in the Ski-Kindergarden. This lasts for 2 hours in the morning from 10 am until 12 pm. For 4 years old kids and older we offer full-day courses. This course starts at 9.30 am until 12 pm and again from 1 pm until 2.30 pm.
Lunch supervising can be booked in addition.
Fun & Pro does not offer half-day group lessons for kids from 4 to 14 years. A mixed group (half-day and full-day kids) does not work, as the group dynamics suffer from it. In order to learn how to ski, beginner need 5 days - 4 hours per day. Only in the morning time is too short to consolidate what they have learned and kids have to start again at the beginner course the next ski holiday.
Beginner- and groups at the beginner lift at the Space Jet I have lunch at "Dampfkessel"
Beginner- and groups at the beginner lift at the Star Jet I have lunch at "Zottl's Weltcuptreff"
Groups that cannot ski on red slopes (all slopes from the middle station to the valley station in Flachau are red) have lunch at the "Jandlalm" (this is at the end of Star Jet II)
All advanced groups that can ski on red slopes are split between "Zottl's Weltcuptreff" and "Dampfkessel". The instructor will tell you where and at what time the group eats. If you don't want to book lunch care please pick up your child at the place and time the instructor tells you.
Learning in the fun & pro Kinderland on the skischool owned "Macic-carpet" is free. As soon as the kids stay at the practice lifts they will require a liftpass. Please make sure to get the ticket before your child goes on the practice lift! You can buy all tickets at the lift station
Children older than 6 years* require a regular lift pass. Children younger than 6 years* get a free lift pass at the lift Station. Please organize the ticket already when you buy the lift passes for the family.
*please have a look at the age group requirements of Snowspace Flachau
Group size from minimum of 4 to 10 children per ski instructor
(In exceptional circumstances, up to 12 children are allowed).
The classification takes place on-site after looking at the skills. We also try an age-appropriate classification - but this is not always possible.
We start at 9.30 am on the first day of the course at Piggy and Bingo Jet. Children who want to be in the same group should come together.
Please dress the kids in the appropriate clothing for the weather. Leggings and ski socks so that the children don't get cold feet. Don't forget sunglasses or ski goggles, gloves as well as sun protection cream! Skiing trousers with anorak are ideal as these are easier for the children if they need to go to the toilet. You can find practical accessories in our shops.
It is law that all children up to 14 years old must wear a helmet. At fun & pro rental helmets are included in the price. If you don't have a helmet please organise one before the start of the course.
In our ski kindergarten and beginner groups poles are not required. Only children who already know how to ski on blue slopes need them.
In general the groups are divided on Sunday and Monday. Beginners can only start of these two days. Except if there is a group of at least 4 children who want to start at the same time. Advanced skiers can join an existing group at any time. Saturday there are no lessons. Private lessons are possible
Our courses are mainly hold in German and English. We also have always Dutch and Danish speaking instructors. As it is difficult to offer all levels in all the different languages we ask for understanding that we try to have at least for the smaller kids-groups the right instructor.
