If you prefer to go out on your own, then please remember the following things to ensure maximum biking pleasure in our mountains!

  • Bike shoes or trainers
  • Bike or sports clothing
  • Helmet
  • Water bottle
  • Wet weather gear, as you never know what to expect!
  • Repair tools (i.e. alien)
  • Spare tube and pump
  • Only use a technically shound bike!
  • Get your bike serviced before the season starts - also possible in our Service-Center in Flachau.
  • Don't go off-road onto impassable terrain - use the marked MTB paths!
  • Only use the paths between 1st May and 31st October, 2 hours after sunrise until 1 hour before sunset!
  • The MTB paths are marked by entry signs and constant markings. Riding on diverging paths and roads is not allowed.
  • Always ride according to the soil conditions and as far as you can see - for example wet wooden bridges can be dangerous.
  • Before you start on the downhill stretch - don't forget to put your helmet on.
