Choose the right level
Videos for self-assessment are available under “choose level”. The correct selection makes it easier to form groups, so that you only need to check on site whether the group fits together. Changes are made after the check ride on the first day of the course. For children who have already attended a Fun & Pro course, the current ability is saved. You start in the group you left off in and reach the next level at the end of the course.
DINO STARTS: LEVEL 1 & 2 - GREEN
The aim of the lessons is to ski on blue runs in a controlled snowplough and snowplough turns as well as braking. The first practice will be in the fun & pro childrens area next to the conveyor belts. Afterwards the skills learnt will be practised next to the beginners lift. When children can ski in a group, brake and stand up without help, nothing stands in the way of the first big descent. Since it is often very strenuous, there are also short drinking breaks and the ski instructor of course has a reward bag with him.
DINO'S CARVING - LEVEL 5, 6 AND 7 - RED
Aim is to ski on red runs. The children learn the difference between a big and small snowplough and between skiing quickly and slowly. "Carving from the snowplough" is part of the lessons, that means the skis are closed after each turn and the parallel turns with pole plants then become really easy.
DINO AS A PRO - LEVEL 8, 9 AND 10 - BLACK
Aim is to ski on black runs. Practising how to control your speed. Confident parallel and short turns are part of the programme as well as refining techniques and race training. Mogul slopes, off-piste, deep powder and controlled jumps naturally are also part of the programme.
Children's ski courses are bookable up to group 8. For group 9 and 10 there is our top group "teens on skis unlimited".
Equipment
The children receive a classic carver set (skis, boots, poles, helmet)
the equipment is ready for collection the day before at 13:00.
Please collect the pick up numbers from the cash desk when you arrive at the shop to speed up the hire process. Thank you very much!
our tip
If in doubt, book a trial day and extend it on site for the difference in price!
