HOW EVERYTHING STARTED - SKIING AND BOARDING WITH THE PROS

Rupert Pichler - Director of the Fun & Pro ski and snowboard school is a thoroughbred athlete and a perfect example of a talented mover. Even in his young days, sport was everything to him and he looked for a challenge in winter and summer alike.

From a young child, Rupert has always been a fanatical skier, who previously never missed a race. Over 300 cups are piled up in the loft. He didn't make his dream of becoming a professional skier, but he did attain several remarkable successes - Austrian Ski Instructor champion in the general classification in Hochgurgl, 1st place in the floodlit GS (Giant Slalom), 3rd place in the Austrian Demo Championships - for artistic skiing - mogul fields, carving technique: he still enjoys skiing a lot, when time permits, in hobby races in the Salzburger Land and accompanies his son Rupert (Jr) to the school championships in the Salzburger Land.

His greatest hobby became his job in 1994 when he founded the Fun & Pro ski and snowboard school. Rupert's personal, sporting ambitions and high demands on himself are reflected in the professionalism of the whole Fun & Pro Team.
